Welcome to my Why!
First, I'd like to thank you for being here. My name is Alexa, but I go by Lex.
My photography journey began when I was 15 years old when a couple asked me to photograph their wedding. I had never photographed a wedding and I had no idea what I was doing... but they trusted me to have FUN with it.
They specifically requested genuine candids, lots of laughter, silly moments, and raw emotions – not all the posed stuff. That moto has been what I've based my photography around: genuine, authentic fun.
That's all it took. I love everything about photography and bettering my skill. I want your photos to be as powerful as they are in the present 25 years down the road.
I hope to be that relatable person with who you're comfortable with, and who exceeds your expectations. Your photo experience should be one you'll want to come back to in the future. I want people who hate having their photo taken to not find it painful or agonizing.

The basics:
I’m 24 (a Gemini, if you’re curious). I was born in China and I was adopted when I was a year old. My roots grew in a small town called Lewisburg, Tennessee (about an hour south of Nashville). I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2023 with a degree in public relations. I fell in love with my college town and now Knoxville is home. Go Vols.

Being a marketing director from 9-5, and in the afternoon being a photographer. I love connecting with people and making the experience equally as memorable as the photos!
When I'm not...
Being a photographer, you'll find me with my dog, Honey on some adventure or I'm playing tennis, pickleball, or golf. We love all things outdoors and traveling.
